Overview
The CSUI 24 website is the central hub for our cohort, designed to display all important student information, updates, and resources in one convenient place. To make the platform more interactive and engaging for the batch, I took the initiative to build a "Menfess" (mention-confess) system. I integrated this feature directly with Twitter, allowing students to submit anonymous messages through our website that are automatically posted to the Twitter account.
Impact
- While primarily an information hub, the integrated Twitter Menfess system also provided a dedicated space for the cohort to engage and share thoughts smoothly.
What I learned
- Working closely with the ITDEV CSUI24 team taught me how collaborative development actually works in practice. I learned how to communicate technical ideas, coordinate tasks, and write code that others can easily understand.
- Developing the Menfess system gave me practical experience in connecting our application to external platforms like Twitter and ensuring the automated posts ran reliably.
